UG COURSES
Generally paramedical courses are job oriented academic programs and students who have passed +2 level exams with Biology as a core subject can apply for these following displines. There is no entrance exam to obtain seats but to get seats in Government Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu one should have higher cut-offs.
BSC- NURSING
One of the highly specialized paramedical courses teaches the students about human body function, diseases, and treatments. This is a 4-year degree course. Students will learn how to give intensive care to patients of all ages. This career-oriented job gives a wide range of career opportunities in India as well as off-shores. One can get jobs in private and government hospitals. Students who are willing to serve society by giving great midwifery services can opt for this.
BPT-BACHELOR OF PHYSIOTHERAPY
This is a Four-year degree course. Students who have completed +2 level exams with biology as a core subject can apply for this course. Students will learn about human physiology, movements, and disabilities and they will also learn Electrotherapy, Kinesiology, exercise prescription and shockwave mobility to treat the patients. Once students completed this course can work with private and public hospitals. They can also start their own practice.
B.PHARM - BACHELOR OF PHARMACY
B.Pharm is one of the most sought degree courses in paramedical sector. Aspirants who want to study this course must have completed +2 exams with physics, chemistry, and biology as core subjects. This four-year degree program teaches students about diseases and medicines which cures that diseases. They also learn the developing, manufacturing and supplying medicinal drugs in the industry. Aspirants can get jobs in hospitals, drug industries, drug testing labs in India and abroad.
PHARM D- DOCTORATE IN PHARMACY
This is a 6-year professional degree course in the pharmacy field. Students will learn theories in the first 5 years and the last academic year is dedicated to training. Students must have passed +2 level exams to apply for this course. Aspirants will learn medicine and human functioning. Students with a Pharm D degree can work as Research Scientists, Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Pharmacists.
BOT-BACHELOR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Bachelor of Occupational therapy is a 4.5-year full-time degree course. Students must have passed +2 exams with chemistry and biology as core subjects to study this course. This course will make students understand science which helps the physically, emotionally and mentally disabled people to cure. They can get jobs in government hospitals, mental hospitals, Private clinics, old age homes, schools for special kids, community health centers, and occupational health centers.
D PHARM - DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY
This is a two-year diploma course in the pharmacy sectors. Students will have 4 semesters. After completing this diploma students can have jobs as pharmacists in hospi- tals, community pharmacies and Phamaceutical fields.
